Happy Birthday to Me

Sun Jul 10, 2005, 8:31 PM
Happy Birthday to Me
Bulldog Mansion

Monday
Tuesday

Wednesday
Thursday

It's my birthday
First day

Friday
Saturday
Saturday night fever

It's my birthday
First day

It's my birthday
Sweet day 우리들의 First day
Birthday
First day

By the way, if you didn't get it by reading the song lyrics, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! My eighteenth one to be precise.

Goodbye, Farewell

No, I'm not leaving.

My DA subscription is about to end...wow, that was a quick 7 days...

My opinion is that a subscription isn't worth it. I wouldn't pay money to get the "additional features" that a DA subscriber's account offers. It's just not worth it! I could use that money to get...other stuff.

Yeah...right...

Pleased to meet you!

My DA Subscriber journal.

So I log on to DA and see a new screen.

Happy birthday or something like that?

Anyway, so I read it more and I realize that I've gotten one of the free 7-day subscription things. What's my first reaction? "Woo-hoo!" Then I realized that this is only a marketing ploy that is designed to lure us in to buying subscriptions. Not that I mind really. It's not like AOL which scams its customers and forces them to go through non-existant phone numbers, more paper than the entire Amazon can provide, and frustration enough to kill an army.

End Transmission
  • Mood: annoyed but happy
  • Listening to: My own
  • Reading: My own
  • Watching: What movie?

With all these people writing long drawn out journals, I decided to respond with one word.

Ice Cream Binge

Tue May 10, 2005, 3:33 PM
Alright, so my school has this trivia thing that I answered. I got a free coupon for a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. So Marya went and answered as well, getting another coupon. So we decided to be the geeks we are and go down to the supermarket and hang out. We got a pint of coffee and a pint of this really yummy brownie/cookie dough ice cream.

So we hung out near the landscaping just outside and we saw so many hilarious things. First, this shopping cart was being pushed by the wind towards this red sports car. We were like "Oh my gosh! It's going to hit it and dent it!" We just sat there like bums as it went closer and closer...and it missed by mere inches!!! It was so awesome!

Then, these tiny apple blossom petals were blowing around. It was a pretty windy day. It made a little tornado whirlwind thingie. That wasn't as cool as the shopping cart thingie, but still, it was semi-cool. When the wind picked up again, we heard something floating in the wind. It was an envelope and it flew over to us. We were like "It's like someone's mail!" Turns out, it was a deposit envelope for a bank. So I just threw it away over my shoulder just as the wind picked up. It was carried up and landed perfectly on the top of a sign. That was very cool!

Then we got up and wandered around the parking lot.

What I noticed though, was that this was the first time in so long that I went out on a school day, and the same was for Marya. We are such geeks!!!

Yeah, I had fun.
